Once we have a few procedural and protocol issues sorted, there'll be a page with more detail on the site. For now, massive thanks to the car sponsors Joe Daly Cycles, Scott Sports, and Felt Bicycles, and to El Presidente Dave Tansey for making it all happen.

Tips of the helmet to Eddie Lynch for sacrificing his no claims bonus, to Aidan Collins for the superb design and colouring. and to Neal Hudson for volunteering to look after the car admin for the year. There's probably a couple more people that played their part in the background about whom I don't know, well done to everyone involved.

It's been a long time coming, and it's great to see it in the flesh (so to speak), and looking so well!

I've added a page to the site for the car, accessible via the 'Membership' drop-down menu.

www.orwellwheelers.org/membership-2/club-car

It's just the rules and current bookings for the car, and a few details about it. If you have a race or sportive for which you want to use the car, you can get in touch with your representative as appropriate, and they'll discuss it with Neal.

It's been used a couple of times in service already, most notably at the club's Randonnée event, and most recently in the cavalcade in the Giro, ever so briefly!
