How did the road race go?

Day 1 of the U/14 National Championships in Kilcullen 1995 where you were awarded points for your finishing position in the TT and hillclimb. There was nearly a fight over Thomas Lavery's time because he won the TT by so much everyone thought that his time was 30 secs fast!

The road race was another epic fail on my part! A bunch sprint on a narrow road between a peleton of mad lunatics that was won by John Roche from Cork.

Bryan I'm guessing you found that in your dads attic? If he kept that then I can just imagine the amount of cycling rubbish he has accumulated over the years! Thanks for sharing!

So much stuff! Was looking for all the old skills courses and found loads of old snippets. My brother won the Under 13 that year so thats why we had the breakdowns. Its funny seeing how the same names did well throughout the age groups through to Junior. Your name crops up here and there!
