A reminder to the W100 Training Group.

The 2015 NCC Tour de Foothills will take place on Sunday 12th April from Finlay Ford in Naas with 65km and 110km routes. The W100 Training Group will take part in the 65k with a view to it being your first sportive and also more than likely your first experience of cycling amongst cyclists other than OW members. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us. We can check within the group on the 4th April the numbers planning to support this Sportive and fly the flag for Orwell and also those who would like to support this Sportive but are without transport and try work something out amongst members.

You can register using the below link: as you will see you can also register on the morning. Orwell have supported this Charity (Saplings School for Children with Autism & Special Needs) over a number of years and is a well-run event. Please note this year it starts and finishes at Finaly Ford, M7 Business Park, Newhall, Naas. Sign on from 8 a.m., commences 9:30 a.m.

TOUR DE FOOTHILLS 2014

From speaking with you all on the 16th March I note the majority of you are aiming to cycle the Ring of Kerry which is on the 4th of July this year!

I recommend if you plan to cycle this event that you book your accommodation now (can be cancelled easily if you do not wish to take part at a later stage but not so easy to book at a later stage) and also keep a close eye on the registration date which is anticipated to be the 7th April. This event sells out very very quickly - to avoid disappointment - add the date to your diary and keep an eye on date registration will officially open. Again we will speak about this event on the 4th April.
