the company who make the road id bracelets we got last year are having a 72 hour sale - started today. We got the elite ones and they are 50% off - $15 plus delivery which if I remember correctly isn't a lot.

This is definitely a good idea. Everyone should have & wear one. I even think it should be made mandatory for all club members. Keeps your family happy to know you're wearing one even if you never have to depend on it. Personally I keep mine hooked around my helmet strap when not in use so that I always remember it when going out on the bike.
