Come siete? We are nearly there now and it is really heating up at the top and bottom! A major move yesterday puts Jules back in Pink with only a few days to go. Could Bryan be in trouble? SOS aka ICS is doing transfers on his phone with one hand and driving with the other in the Rás Cavalcade alright, and what a wonderful job he and the whole team are doing, GO TEAM SCOTT ORWELL! Conor Dowler's meteoric rise up the ranks in the club league has not been reflected in the fantasy league however, despite telling me that he was coming for me ;-) Meanwhile, at the bottom, a massive jump by Saddle Sore Wheelers (Chapeau Tony!) has left two of the clubs best Reality Cyclists in a real dog fight for the super prize of "Extra Shame".

Bryan is in trouble.

I'm hoping that Jules pulls a Dumoulin (a la Vuelta 2015) and blows up on the Cima Coppi or sooner.

I had a nice Chatenuef de Pape earmarked.

It seems like the Chateneuf de Pape Dream is still alive! Could this get any closer?! In a rivalry that would remind you of Hinault and Lemond (if they had time to play games like this), Bryan have leveled it up with Jules at the top again! Who will make the key moves over the next few days to clinch the coveted title? Do they even have enough transfers left? Will Gar produce a miracle and win the very prize he very generously sponsored. In case any of you have forgotten, it's a €30 voucher for Baggot Street Wines and the Cavern . This should buy you a nice bottle of the aforementioned wine or perhaps even a spot of lunch or dinner!

Meanwhile, in the peleton, we are seeing some very strong managerial skills from Louise, the two Barrys and Paul. Alan has made a move on Gar in a bid to kick him off the podium and I still have no idea who Hippo2016 is??? Nick is still up on the roof like the drifters in mid-table. In the grupetto, Tony has put a bit of light between himself and the young Turks. Freddie jumped Eoin yesterday but watch this space for more riveting stuff in this epic battle for the Lantern Rouge! Warren is playing with fire, very much in the tradition of his beloved club ;-)

Haha I wondered who I was battling it out with. Great scrap for the last couple of weeks. Only had one transfer left for today's stage,picked the stage winner then he got disqualified.

Well done to Jules ! I thought I'd hold on Friday even though my transfer kitty was gone. The wiser tactician won out but I'll have learned for the Tour !

Well done to everybody and Congratulations to Jules, our Champion! Jules, please contact Gar for your prize. Great scrap at the top with Bryan. SOS wasn't far off in the end. Alan, Gar and Hippo had a great battle for the rest of the top 6, chapeau lads! The two Barrys, Paul and Louise had a right old battle for 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th while myself Nick and Conor exchanged a few stares. Warren is deffo one to watch for the Tour as he will be using transfers and really it is impressive how well he did in this without them ;-) Valdis was obviously pacing himself and will peak for the Tour. The shame of the bottom 3 goes to Freddie, Tony and Eoin in last place, thank god Eoin is so good in reality!
