Kit Update - New Rules (Important - READ!)

*** Please Read - Important Information ***

Due to incredible demand on the time of staff at Joe Daly Cycles, we are implementing a new system for trying on kit. Kit purchasing will be updated after.

What does this mean for me?
Up until now, members have been able to try kit on at any time during the week. This has been the same for collecting orders, preparing for an upcoming order or just picking up items in stock.

You will now only be able to size kit at a fixed "kit sizing night", to be held on the first Monday of each month.

This is not a time to order new kit, just to try on existing stock. Make a note of your sizes and keep it ready for the next order. You are free to purchase any existing stock that you want (Have the exact amount in cash ready!)

If you go into the shop outside of this window, you will be denied the opportunity to try kit on for size.

As with all information, it's up to members to stay abreast of the latest changes to club policies. Please don't start making any complaints while in the shop, direct them at the kit rep (me!) if you wish to do so.

When are the kit sizing nights for 2016?

Monday - 22nd August 2016 - 18:30 to 20:30 (sharp)
Monday - 5th September 2016 - 18:30 to 20:30 (sharp)
Monday - 3rd October 2016 - 18:30 to 20:30 (sharp)
Monday - 7th November 2016 - 18:30 to 20:30 (sharp)
Monday - 5th December 2016 - 18:30 to 20:30 (tentative - busy Christmas hours might require a change!)

Will the full range of sizes be available and are the winter and summer kits made by the same manufacturer?

Hi Val, these aren't kit sizing nights, it's just to try on and/or purchase whatever is held in stock at the moment! We will be having a winter kit sizing night hosted by our supplier in the next week.

Also, please note that tonight's kit night has been postponed.

You will be able to try on and/or purchase existing kit held in stock at the Velorevolution winter kit sizing night (date TBC).

Michael, I've already tried the remaining stock in Joe Daly's so I'm only interested in a "sizing night" as I was out of the country for the last two!!

Please note that the next chance to try on and purchase existing kit from our stock ( link ) is on tonight!

18:30 to 20:30 in Joe Dalys.

Please bring cash if you wish to buy some kit. You can, of course, just come and try on kit to get an idea of your sizes before the next order (sometime in January)

The stock list ( LINK ) will be updated shortly, remember if you know your size you can email DaveMc (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and he will prepare your order for you to collect. This isn't a chance to go in an try on lots of sizes, it's a "click and collect" system.

Just a reminder that the November kit night is on tonight in Joe Daly Cycles from 18:30 to 19:30.

There is still plenty of stock, old and new, which you can try on or purchase.

Please remember to bring cash if you intend to buy, it will save you running around looking for the nearest ATM.

Hi Val, yes it's exactly the same (and probably a little bit less). This is just a chance to see what's available for people who maybe don't have any kit at all.

We still have a good few skinsuits left, for anyone looking to ride cyclocross, as well as some winter kit and long sleeve jerseys from the spin 11 kit.

The delivery email that everyone who ordered received stated a delivery in mid-November at the earliest. There is no change on this, my latest update from the supplier was still "mid-November", i.e. some time next week, but until I get confirmation that it has shipped, I won't be able to give a definite answer and I won't be updating the forum. Even at this late stage, delays can arise, so I prefer not to say anything until it's in the air.

Kit Collection Night and Monthly Kit Night - Merged

When: Monday 5th December
Where: Joe Daly Cycles
Time: 18:30 to 19:30 (strict finishing time)

What will be available? If you ordered kit in the most recent winter order, it will be available for collection. It's all paid for so you just need to drop in and pick it up. We will also be having our monthly kit night, that's any kit that is held in stock by the club is available to purchase!

What's not available? Still no socks or overshoes yet. Apologies. Hopefully they will arrive when the winter hats arrive.
