Winter Kit Sizing Night - 13th Sept was created by Michael Hanley
Velorevolution will be coming to Joe Daly Cycles to show off the range of kit available to purchase this winter! This is a chance to try on items and see how it fits. You will also be able to purchase any kit that is currently in stock in the shop.

When: 13th September from 18:30 until 20:30
Where: Joe Dalys Cycles, Dundrum
What's available: Orwell Winter Kit (i'll update the list of what's available in the next day or two, but it will be jackets, rain capes, hydras and bib tights - we won't be ordering summer gear!)

Just to repeat - current stock will be available for purchase!

A couple of tips to make sure things run smoothly and everyone gets a chance to ask Aidan questions:
  • There is no need to try on every size. If small is too small and large is too big, you're a medium...there is no need to wait and try it on if someone else has the medium
  • Try it on, see how it fits, then move on. Please don't spend 30 mins humming and hawing in front of the mirror. We only have 2 hours!

Hi Michael,

Is tonight purely for sizing, or will there be ordering of winter kit?

Thanks

Fergal

Hi Fergal,

You beat me to it. Tonight is for sizing, ordering will come after. We are moving to a fully ONLINE ordering and payment system, but it will need to be tested on a small group first. I'll be asking a couple of people to test this after tonight's sizing.

For everyone else, I would recommend that you record your items and sizes (bring your phone, take pictures, memos or even a piece of paper) and stay tuned for the full launch of the online store. It will be going live in the next few days.

Available tonight (winter kit):

LS Jersey
Winter Jacket (water repellent)
Bib Tights
Gilet
Rain Cape
Hydra mk.2
Arm/leg warmers
Overshoes

We also have plenty of kit in stock that can be purchased on the night, as this is doubling up as our cancelled standard kit sizing/purchasing night.

Thanks to everyone who showed up last night!

The brand new way for ordering your kit...ONLINE...will be going live shortly, just tightening the last few bolts and making sure it's roadworthy!

A few things to note:

Prices have increased ever so slightly in order to cover the card processing fees - this is unavoidable but it means no running around with cash trying to make it to the shop before it closes! Convenient!

Payments will be made in FULL online using your credit card. No paypal at this time. We won't be doing the credit card processing, that will be handled by Selz:

"All transactions and credit card information on Selz is protected with industry standard security, including encryption and SSL secure. The Selz platform is also PCI compliant"

Orders are still subject to the 10 item minimum order - if we don't meet the minimum, your order for a particular item will be cancelled after the window closes.

Order windows will remain open for 1 week. No late orders will be accepted.

Orders will still be delivered to Joe Daly Cycles where you need to collect them. We had a lot of uncollected orders from as far back as December! If you don't collect your order within 3 months, it will be added to general stock. If there is a reason you can't collect your order within this time - contact me!
