Club League R9 - Black Bull RR

As usual, sign-on closes at 18.50. Sign-on and parking are at a rather anonymous lay-by near the M3. goo.gl/maps/WFn7I

It's not a bad cycle from town - maybe folk could post here if they're heading out, have a group spin out with some experienced riders who know where they're going.

If you do drive out please remember not to block any access to private houses. This area is used frequently, so keeping the neighbours happy is important.

The organiser will decide the course on the night. The one you have above is known as the Green Sheds, or they might go for the Mullagh course - app.strava.com/segments/710884

Road races are either CP or DMS - www.orwellwheelers.org/orwell-league/rules

Some races are marked as CP – competitor paced, or handicapped. This means that the slower groups are given a head-start, and more than one group is in the race. A DMS is a Divided Mass Start, or separate races – each group has their own race, so you're only racing against others in your category (of about the same ability as you).

Last year's R9 in Black Bull was 45km, if that's any use. A roll-out from sign-on and two laps of the Green Sheds (www.strava.com/segments/681417).
