Here is a chance for you to help win some money for Orwell Wheelers. Topaz, who operate the service stations, have an initiative running which allows clubs to win funds for their chosen club. The initiative is called Cash for Clubs. You may have heard it advertised on the radio.
Who can take part
The promotion is not limited only to Orwell members. In fact you can and should invite your family, work colleagues and friends to help you!
When does the initiative end
The Cash for Clubs initiative runs until Sunday 10th May 2015 after which date all complete entries will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win thousands of euro! The draw will take place on Monday the 18th of May 2015. All clubs who return 300 completed cards will be eligible for a prize.
Prizes
- 1 club will win €10,000
- 10 clubs will win €5,000
- 140 clubs will win €1,000
- Every club thereafer will receive €250
How does it work?
- Register your club: This has been already done. Our registration number is 10994
- Call to a Topaz service station: Collect a "Cash for Clubs" card. They are the same size as a credit card.
- Collect stamps: For every €40 of fuel bought, you should have your card stamped. You will have to collect 5 stamps on each card. When the card is full return it to Joe Daly's. Dave T has agreed to hold the cards for us.
- Collect cards: As a club we need to have 300 cards fully stamped with 5 stamps on each card. This is a big ask to everyone so have family members, work colleagues and friends try to use a small number of cards which can be transferred between each other.
