This Sunday’s Orwell Christmas race will go ahead as planned but the lingering icy conditions mean that it will run to a revised format.

Rather than the intended road race the race will now be a two-up 'guess your time' time trial along the Vartry Road to Roundwood.

Riders will assemble in Roundwood at 10.30am and roll out en masse to the start with the first pairing off at 11.30am. Tea and sandwiches will be served during the prizegiving in Kavanagh’s of Roundwood after the event.
