Ronan Grimes has won a BRONZE medal in the Individual Pursuit at the 2020 ParaCycling Track World Championships in Canada today!  Ronan set a PB in qualifying but went even better in the bronze medal ride clocking 4:43.806 and averaging 50.739kph

Ronan has had a very busy schedule at the Worlds this year. He competed in the Kilo TT on Thursday where he finished 8th but set a new Irish Record beating of 1:09.438, beating his previous time of 1:11.595.  GB rider & world record holder Jody Candy took the win.

On Friday Ronan raced the Flying 200 and finished in 6th place.

On Saturday morning Ronan took to the track again for the Individual Pursuit Qualifying rounds. Ronan set a PB in qualifying but went even better in the bronze medal ride clocking 4:43.806 and averaging 50.739kph

Ronan will race again tomorrow in the Scratch Race - best of luck Ronan, give it socks!

Ronan Grimes signed off at the ParaCycling Track World Championships with 6th place in the Scratch Race narrowly missing out on a medal in a sprint finish. A strong showing in the TT, 200m, Pursuit & Scratch sees him take 6th in the Omnium on 128points
