New Womens Intermediate League was created by Louise Keane
Since the end of last season there has been a lot of work going on trying to figure out ways of getting more women involved in racing. One of the biggest problems has been retaining those who completed the beginner leagues such as the Orwell Women's League in Corkagh Park but who then didn't feel ready for the National League races.

Women's Cycling Ireland has just announced a new Women's Intermediate League to take place this year. Monica Freiband from Orwell and Fiona Guihen from Black Rose Cycling have been working hard behind the scenes to get this up and running and we thank them for all their efforts.

For all of you sitting on the fence about racing give it a go....go on, you might just find you love it;) Check out the information on -
