It’s all down to this Tuesday and the final Time Trial! It’s hard to believe the 6 weeks are nearly over, the racing has been great and it is really close at the top of both leagues. Immediately after the TT the League prize giving will take place in Caffreys Pub in Batterstown. There will be tea/coffee & sandwiches for all, we really hope you can join us.

Location:
We are back in the usual spot for the TT – Black Bull. Map to Sign on, Parking & TT turn
Sign on will be from 6.20pm and first rider off at 7pm. This is subject to change on the night if the traffic is bad. Scott-Orwell Wheelers had a TT round of the club league on this course 2 weeks ago and traffic was still very heavy at 7pm. IF the organisers feel it isn’t safe for all riders we may delay the start until a bit later. Please check before you go off on your warm up.

Times:
There are no scheduled time slots for the TT therefore, we encourage you to come as early as possible, register and get a start time. This will enable us to facilitate those who may be a little delayed leaving work or in traffic. Ideally, we want to facilitate and accommodate all riders whilst considering limited daylight and ensuring everyone’s safety which of course is paramount.

Parking:
If driving out to Black Bull, please park as marked on the link below and ride back to the start as part of your warm up. Parking is the on the road off the R142, the first turn left after you drive over the M3 when coming from Dublin. We need to be mindful and respectful of local residences and ask that you do not park outside homes closer to the start line. We have had some cars block entrances or park on lawns outside houses at events here in the past and as it is a well used course we do not want to annoy the residents.

Safety:
Although we do have more light than in Round 1 we still recommend you use a rear light on your bike to help with visibility. We received complaints from 3 different drivers on the first night that it was very difficult to see cyclists. Please use common sense and bring your light.

Course:
The course is 10miles (16km). The route goes through Batterstown and out to a roundabout at 8km. Make sure to follow the directions of the Marshals at the roundabout - we have had participants leave the roundabout one exit to early in the past! Circle the roundabout to the 4th exit and leave the roundabout at the same junction as you entered it.

Details:
Sign on is at the Start/Finish location. See Map.
Warming up on the course is NOT allowed.
TT bikes, wheels and aero kit can be used.
Please use a rear light

Points & Prizes!
This week there will be seperate points for the A and B groups in the TT so lots of points on offer and all to play for!

Prizes will be presented in Cafferys Pub, Batterstown immediately after the TT. The prizes are all thanks to Appleby Jewelers and are the same for the A and B leagues:
1. €110 voucher
2. €90 voucher
3. €70 voucher

When you cross the finish line roll on through, pull over further down the road and don't turn around before checking that it is safe to do so. Anyone doing a U-turn in the vicinity of the finish line will be disqualified. Please don't hassle the timekeepers for your time- there's no problem asking, but make sure to do it at a time when there aren't any riders coming in.
