In little over a week over 20 orwell guys and girls head to the alpe to take on the marmotte.
This is the biggest Orwell participation in the 180km 5200m challenge ever.
However what we found out tonight makes us all looks like wimps!
Eoin Zippy Byrne who has just completed his 8th subject's exam in the leaving. Most 18 year olds go to Ibiza Majorca etc etc. To celebrate his end of leaving zippy has decided to pack a pannier on his racer with tent and sleeping bag and cycle to the marmotte and camp on the way. Naturally he's going to do the marmotte with us as a recovery spin.
You simply can't make this stuff up!!

Top tip:
Make sure you have correct insurance, holiday insurance only covers you for incidental cycling, so make sure you top up your policy.
