Membership Renewal

Just to remind people that the Club membership is from Jan 1st to Dec 31st, all current Senior members and parents of Youths / Juniors will have received an email from me at this stage with the link to the Eventbrite site where you can renew your membership.

A few things have been raised around the order of renewals

1. Please Renew your Club Membership first – if you don’t have your CI number for 2019 that is ok – use the one for 2018
2. The Club Membership number was contained in the initial email which was sent out, if you don’t have the number please contact me directly.
3. If you renew your CI membership before the Club Membership, your CI renewal will sit in a queue until such time you have renewed your Club Membership
4. All Senior members MUST select the Club as being their club on the Cycling Ireland website
5. If you are signing up for the Club League you MUST have either a Limited Competition Licence or a Full Competition Licence
6. If you are signing up for the League you MUST have signed up as a member of the Club as well.

To the members who have renewed their membership so far thank you.

To the remaining members who haven't renewed as yet you will have received a reminder email this evening, there will be 2 more reminders sent - one at the end of Jan and the final one at the end of Feb with the Club membership closing at the end of March.

Just to remind people that your Club membership for 2019 has to be done before your Cycling Ireland membership renewal will be approved.

Following the January committee meeting it was decided that the Membership renewal will close at the END OF FEBRUARY .

If you are going to renew your membership then you need to do it before then.

Once membership renewal has closed then a clean up of Forum Access will be done as well - only Club members will have update access to the forum.

• The 3rd and final reminder for people to renew their Club membership was sent out this evening. Club Renewals for Adults will be closing at the end of February.

• There are a number of people who have renewed their Cycling Ireland Membership and have yet to renew their Club Membership - you need to complete the Club Membership before I approve the CI renewal.

• Just need to remind people that Club membership year is not linked to the Cycling Ireland year, your leisure licence is valid for 12 months from when you renewed it last - the Club membership is from Jan 1st to Dec 31.

• Before you are allowed to cycle on ANY club spin you need to have valid cycling insurance


• Cycling Ireland will send you an email in advance of your licence expiring - it is up to you renew it.


• I also receive a listing from Cycling Ireland for all members who's licence is due to expire om the coming month


• To reduce the volume of emails I need to send could you please ensure you renew before I have to chase you

Following the closing of the membership site a review of people with login access to the forum will be carried out and only current members will retain their acesss.
