I Finished 3rd in another league, where I jumped onto the podium on the last day. Shaun Kelly won that league.

Tour Week 1 Update
A week of highs and lows.
The standings are as follows:
We hav a clear leader, and a three horse race for second hoping for a crack. Plus an outside shot at a podium.
SOS has peaked at 9th in the world.
But it might be an early peak, using 23/45 transfers.
This second week goes from Mountain (from week 1), Flat, Mountain, Flat, Flat, MM Breakway, Mountain.
So lots of batch transfers will be required.
Jules in second place using 19/45 transfers. Only a couple of picks of Merlier has slowed Jules down.
Luke waited until Stage 6 to make his first transfers, then used 18 transfers in 4 stages.
I (other Luke (how have I become a sidekick in my own story?)) have used 23/45 transfers. So will need to be prudent. Wrong picks of Merlier over Philipsen, and accidently picking breakaway no hopers (my kryptonite) has cost me.
Outside shot for the podium, Anarres, has used 23 transfers too. They've done very well to pick Jasper Philipsen at the right times.

Two flat stages, didn't end in a sprint, which costed many a transfer.
Final Standings
SOS peaked at 2nd in the world during the second week. Unfortunately the third week was tough on Steven and he ended up in 21st in the world.
Jules remained in second place since week 1.
Luke, me, main Luke, had some brutal brutal stage results, but I beat other Luke.
Anarres put together a two weeks to rally up to fourth.
See yis/yous/ye in the Vuelta for a sunny September.

The Giro is starting in Budapest (three years later than promised) on Friday the 6th of May at 11:40 Irish Time, with an Punchy finish. Stage 2 is a short ITT with 100 meters of elevation gain in the final km, stage 3 is bumpy but flat at the finish, stage 4 is a climb up Mt Etna.

As we head into the third, and final, Rest Day, one man played with Panache and subsequently went ThermoNeuclear in the Alps. He reclaimed 91 points on the leader, courtesy of some Mutant performances. This same man will be looking to press his fantastic form into the Pyrenees.
Niall still looks good for a Giro-Tour Double.
Shaun could seek to keep the pressure on.
Luke seems to have secured the podium and now looks up at the higher positions.

Niall has completed the Giro-Tour Double. He got third in Ireland and 108th in the world. Congrats to Niall.

A debut for upthedubs, seen him finish fourth.
The only question is that can Niall get the Triple Crown?

Congrats to Niall Kieran for completing the Triple Crown.
But most importantly, he's won the grand prize of a 1.5mm Allen Key. He can place it beside his Baguette NFT and Street Cred.
I will be immediately drafting a Motion for the Orwell AGM requesting that we rename the race the Wednesday before the Nationals in Niall's honour.
Update: I have been asked not to attend the AGM.
