AGM was today.

Highlights from Twitter and Boards.ie:

• €10 increase in CI membership fees (there was a presentation that explained why, something to do with the insurance premium at almost €300k, up from €200k in 2014)
• No Road Races before first Saturday in March.
• Junior races replace Masters races at the National champs - Masters RR and TT likely on the same weekend now.
• 110 max riders in an A4 race (looking to lower this in the coming years)
• Juniors allowed to upgrade from A3 with 60 (1st year) or 30 (2nd year) points.
• Ciaran McKenna ReElected as President
• Road Racers need frame mounted numbers (there's a 3D Printing File for a rear brake mounted holder, someone posted on reddit.com/r/velo months ago. #NoZipTies)
• A4 Upgrade points limit reduced from 15 to 13. (Ronan Foley up to A3)
• Gillian McDarby elected to Board of Directors

Not Approved:
• A year of LC license required for A4, or any sort of A4 Training.

No News:
• A4 Upgrade points limit reduced from 15.

Possible effecting us:
• Youth Races need 1,2,3 prizes for each under-age category in each gender.
• Riders may not revert back to an original club if they have competed at a National Championship for a second club in any one season.
• From 2019 a Safety Person must form part of a club committee. 2018 will allow for appropriate training of volunteers for the roles within their clubs by Cycling Ireland. New clubs will initially be vetted by the Provincial Executive before recommending/rejecting the application to CI.
• For service cars in Road Races, the driver must be licenced by the National Federation and accompanied by another competent person. The Commissaire may at his discretion allow a vehicle in excess of the minimum height or motorcycle service vehicle to follow at the rear of the cavalcade. (Looks like the mechanic regulation was downgraded from needing to be CI licensed.)
