On May 15th Cycling Ireland released their " Roadmap for Reopening Cycling Activity ". We will be entering Phase 1 of this roadmap on Monday the 18th of May. Details of Phase 1 and a link to the Roadmap are below.

Quanta-Scott Orwell Wheelers encourages all members to please adhere to the guidelines and maintain a 5km from your home limit for any cycling activities.

The club will be following the Roadmap and will NOT be organising any group rides or club activities in this phase. We will review the club position at the start of each subsequent phase reflecting Government and CI guidelines. Cycling Ireland have stated - "When further clarification is received from the UCI and government on ability to maintain social distancing, Cycling Ireland will revisit the potential of running group based activities and encouraging club activities to restart"

The club committee will continue to monitor and assess the situation as stages progress and as soon as we have any revisions to the position will let all club members know through the forum.

Cycling Ireland also reminds all CI members that - "Above all, members must take personal responsibility for their health and safety when deciding to train with others".
