4 more riders only have 1 qualifier to go which will probably be the Coast 2 Coast 600 - Dave, Ken, Kashif and Michael.
Special kudos to Tara who cycled the final 370km on only 2 gears when her rear cable snapped!

While no-one is ever truly alone or unsupported on an event with 6 or 7000 participants and twice as many supporters, it’s an altogether different thing to ride it as a group and all to be dependent on each other. If it all goes badly then the group can only be as strong as it’s weakest link, if it goes well we’ll be stronger than the sum of our parts.
We are all tremendously grateful for all of the support that the club has provided along the way, and all of the messages of support are very much appreciated. We’ll try to post occasional updates if and when we get the chance along the way, and hopefully by Thursday afternoon we will have 13 successful PBP finishers in the Orwell.

In the meantime we’ve lost Tony but found Michael, and we’re getting ready to head out on one last 75k leg to Carhaix before bed.

It’s bedtime!!!!
510 km done and dusted into savage headwinds since 8.45pm last night. Sweet dreams - you deserve a few quality hours sleep. The planned schedule has them staying in Carhaix until 6.30am tomorrow morning before the final 89km to Brest.
