Results from the early races at the Waller Cup in Bohermeen are in.

Caoimhe May won the u16 AND the Ladies race in the first round of the new Intermediate Women's League.

Oisin May won the under 12 race. Celebrations in the May house today!

Annie Roch was 6th overall in the u14 race.

Conor Murphy was 5th in the u16 race. It came down to a bunch sprint wit Dylan & Ronan just loosing out on places.

Aine Reilly was 3rd unplaced girl in the u12 race

Special mention to Katie Reilly - our very own "pocket rocket" who was involved in a crash but got up and finished in 2nd place in the unplaced girls u14 girls race!! Well done Katie and get well soon.

A big bunch sprint in the A4 race with all The Orwell coming home safely but with no placings.

Terry Ryan was 5th in IVCA race 3 in Dundalk today. And our club PRO did a great job on the marshalling crew!

Huge turn out from Scott-Orwell Wheelers today at the IVCA Race on the Curragh - where it is definitely not flat!

Best results for the club were in race 3 where Romano Morelli finished 5th and Barry Redmond 6th. The two were very strong on the climbs all day with Barry making a break for freedom on the last time of asking up Boston Hill only to be reeled in and still feature in the sprint.

Over in Scotland Scott Orwell Wheelers were well represented by Caoimhe May and Stephanie Roche.

Caoimhe was 5th in her race today and Stephanie was 8th in the Open Race yesterday. Great results!

Continuing his good form, Romano Morelli was 1st in IVCA race 3 last night in Summerhill. Romano took the win by half a wheel in a bunch sprint for the line.

And Ken O'Neill was 1st in the Scratch Race at the IVCA race in Summerhill. Ken is getting the competitive juices flowing for his week as Team Manager of the Ras Team next week!





It also look like Terry Ryan may have been 3rd or 4th in Race 3 just behind Romano in the sprint!

Terry Ryan was the winner of IVCA race 3 in a damp Kentstown this morning. Terry was in a group of 10 riders set off a few minutes before the chasing group of about 20. The leading group all worked hard for the whole of the 70 km, while the chasers had some difficulty getting organised. Terry's group held a gap of less than 1 minute at the end, and sprinted it out for the points.

Here is a result that almost slipped by us!

Barry Greene was competing in the Hilltown GP promoted by Armagh CC yesterday and finished 7th in the A4 race.

It looked like a nasty uphill finish too!!
