In Monesterevin there was a big Scott Orwell Wheeler turn out in all races but only one result! It was fast and hot racing right from the start in each race but it was Diarmuid Collins who brought home the bacon - crossing the line in 5th place in the Scratch race.
Diarmuid was seen out on the roads yesterday sporting a KAS jersey and so must have been inspired by King Kelly himself coming into the sprint;)

A great win for Diarmuid Collins in the IVCA Scratch Race on the Green Sheds Circuit tonight!!
Diarmuid was in a 2 man break which got away on the first lap and stayed clear.
In the same race Ken O’Neill continued his fine run of form with 10th place.
In Race 2 Declan Quigley got in for some points by claiming 10th place.
In Race 3 Patrick Malone finished in 5th place.
Chapeau lads!

1st and 3rd for Scott Orwell Wheelers today at the IVCA Age Championships!
Diarmuid Collins took the win in the 40s with a blistering sprint and Eddie Lynch was unlucky to only get 3rd in the 50s after he led out for the line at the end of their race!
Diarmuid is getting great practice at his victory salute lately but today he was so focused on the line that he didn’t have a chance to get his arms up!
Rumour has it the Club League committee are considering a special category just for Diarmuid. - Super Scratch ?
Well done lads, great racing!

Apologies to Ronan for not posting these results sooner!
Ronan finished 7th in the TT despite dropping his chain with 400m to go and having to walk his bike over the line! Thankfully Ronan doesn't think the mechanical would have cost him a medal with 6th the best he would have finished.
Ronan then took on the Road Race on Sunday and finished 4th. He is in great form going into the World Championships which will take place on the 3rd and 5th of August in Maniago, Italy. Ronan will contest the TT on the 3rd and then the RR on the 5th.
We wish him the best of luck and look forward to following his progress.
