Paracycling Road World Championships

Fantastic news! Ronan Grimes and Paul Forristal have been selected to compete on the Irish Team at the Paracycling Road World Championships.

Ronan Grimes, in the MC4 category, will go into the championships with hopes of claiming another world medal. Grimes won silver at the Track World Championships back in March and last week won the bronze medal at the Canadian World Cup.

Paul Forristal is in his first season on the tandem as the pilot for Damien Vereker but has already competed at World Cup level in Canada where the pairing finished 8th in the TT and in the Road Race on a very technical course.

The Worlds will take place in the Netherlands from September 12 – 15.

It all kicks off tomorrow (Thursday) at the Para-Cycling World Champs!

The TT kicks off in the afternoon - Paul and Damien will be racing at 2.16 and Ronan is off at 3.50pm
