CL R5: Brittas RR - Thursday 08 July

Hi all,

Registration now open for Round 5. Race starts at 19:00 for all categories. There is one race, handicapped with Limit off first and Scratch off last.

Marshals, please be there for 18:30, you'll be assigned positions then. Damien Long is the race organiser.

For everyone doing this race, the first priority should be safety and respect for other riders and road users. Anyone racing recklessly will risk expulsion from the league, and I won't hold back on that. If there are cars approaching on the opposite side, move in and sacrifice your position if you have to. Give pedestrians adequate space.

When arriving, stay well off the road and do not block anyone's path. We don't own the roads.

Most importantly, enjoy the race!

I'll share more details later in relation to handicaps, etc. But for now, get registering!

If you haven't swapped or found someone to replace you, you'll be asked by Damien to fulfil your marshalling responsibilities on the night, and not allowed to race. Please check whether you are down to marshal before arriving.

Well done to our top 8, notably the first 6, who held off the entire chase, and congratulations to Jonathan O'Brien on the win. A word also for Katie Reilly in 6th, It's really great to see such a young rider in the placings.
