Scott Orwell Youths One Day Stage Race

Scott Orwell Wheelers will be hosting the Youth One Day Stage Race in Corkagh Park this coming Saturday - the 12th of May.

Time: Sign on is at 10:00 , First race at 10:30.
Location: Corkagh Park Cycle Racing Track.
Admission: Entry is on the day only and costs €10.

92 youths signed on for racing this morning in a sunny Corkagh Park - a huge turnout!! It was particularly good to see so many girls signing on so that separate girls races could be run.

I made it over to the track in time to see the under 14 and the under 16 boys scratch races and the atmosphere was fantastic. A great race village feel and young people everywhere on bikes. The racing was excellent - there is some serious talent on the way up in Irish Racing.
