It's Club BBQ weekend!

The club BBQ has become one of the social events of the year since it's introduction a few years ago. This year we are moving to a new venue - The Raddisson Blu St Helen's Hotel on the Stillorgan Rd.

There is a fantastic menu lined up and a back up indoor plan in case the weather gods aren't smiling on Sunday.

The BBQ runs from 2pm to 4pm and there will be childern's entertainment from 3pm to 5pm. Ticket sales are now closed on the website however if you haven't gotten tickets yet check with Colm Featherstone for the cancellation list - This email address is being protected from spambots. LEISURE:

Saturday 11th

There is a very special club spin this Saturday morning - a Dawn Raid on Wicklow! A dawn spin to see the sunrise will leave Joe Daly's Cycles at 5am and is heading out towards Greystones. Apart from the stunning views and the sunrise the other reward is a full Irish breakfast at the Glenview Hotel on the way back!

Don't forget your lights and hi vis in the morning!

Full details are on this forum thread - Dawn Spin Route

Sunday 12th

As the club BBQ is on Sunday there are no other official leisure spins. The only one where you might get a spin in and still make the BBQ in time is the Naas CC Tour of Kildare in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. It has 65km and 110km route options and will be flat and zippy apart from the "Kildare version" of The Wall...are there any hills in Kildare? Check the Naas CC website for details - Naas CC Tour of Kildare

This week it is the infamous Hill Climb TT and this year there has been a lot of talk about the course as it features an off road section!
