We welcome the revised government guidelines announced on 29/4//2021 that signal a return to club training activities in the coming weeks. It's been a long winter for everyone cycling alone or indoors without the company of our clubmates and friends. The support from club members for the government guidelines over the last year has been fantastic and thankfully we will now all enjoy the opportunity to reap the rewards of everyone's efforts and look forward to a summer of club cycling again.

The government has announced the revised public health guidelines that will be introduced on a phased basis during April. Cycling Ireland has also issued an updated position for all clubs in Ireland. These guidelines highlight a number of key areas that relate to club activities and are constant for the full month of April, read on for more information..

The government has placed the entire country on Level 5 lockdown commencing midnight Wednesday 30th of December 2020. For at least the month of January we are all being asked to play our part in reversing the progress of the Covid pandemic that is impacting each of us and our families at the moment. In support of the national interest Orwell Wheelers is suspending all club training, events, spins and social activities until further notice.
