Due to large numbers of people asking to join the league after the deadline for applications had passed, the League Committee have decided to grant an amnesty, and accept new applications for the next two weeks only.

Applications should be made in the usual fashion (see membership page), with fees for the club league of €30 and a marshalling deposit of €50 required. The marshalling deposit will be returned to you at the close of the league, if and only if you fill your marshalling slots. If you are not already a member of the club or Cycling Ireland, additional fees will apply.

New league members will be subject to the same marshalling requirements as current members. Some current members will happily find one of their slots taken by a latecomer.

Once applications have been accepted and processed, the new riders will start from round 7, which is a Corkagh Park criterium on 16th May. Similar to the beginning of the league, this will allow riders to have their first taste of club racing in a safe, traffic-free environment.

All new joiners must race Round 7. This will allow us to ensure you are ready for the league. Unsafe riders and no-shows will not be allowed to race later in the league. If you are unable to make this date, and are not known to the committee, please do not apply to join the league.

This amnesty will only happen once, and only until April 26th. If your application has not been received by the membership secretary by that date, it will be rejected. There will be no second opportunity to join the league.
