Dunne on form in Batterstown

Fresh from sixth place in the Gorey 3-Day Stage Two Time Trial, Mark Dunne confirmed his love for the race against the watch with second overall in the third round of the Inter-Club League at Batterstown last Thursday.
Dick O'Brien and Aidan Collins were second and third in the Limit group on the undulating 10 mile course from Batterstown to Mullagh, finishing on the Summerhill to Dunboyne road. Colm Cassidy took overall honours for Usher Irish Road Club.
Dave McLoughlin and Martin Caddow were second and third of the Orwell contingent in 10th and 11th. Dunne moves up to sixth overall in the league table while Aideen Collard continues to lead the women's league.
