Mountain Biking Weekend

There is a gang of us heading up north to Newcastle on 6th and 7th January.
We are doing mountain biking on Saturday
( Castlewellan- very beginner friendly trails as well as advanced options) and then supporting/spectating at the National Cyclocross on Sunday.

We are staying in Newcastle Country Cottages.
There are 6 person houses and 4 person houses.

Works out at €56-€60 each for the two nights.
Minimum stay two nights.

So far we've 3 full 3 bedroom houses. ( 17 people)

There are 3 of the 2 bedroom houses available still. Everyone welcome. The more the merrier!!

If you enjoyed the club weekend away to Gorey or feeling jealous that you missed all the craic, have a read above.
We have 3 houses filled at present and hoping to get 1 or 2 more houses if the interest is there.

Ian has already expressed interest so we need to find him some more house mates.

21 Orwellians booked in for this trip in January. 3 also making a day trip out of it.
We have 4 houses booked at the moment. There are still two 2 bedroom houses left so we could potentially fit 8 more people.


@ Ian O Leary - you will need to find a person to share with or would you be happy to pay €130 for the two nights accommodation and have a room all to yourself?

Brand new members would be most welcome along too!!

There is a two bedroom house left as far as I know. You would need to contact ' Newcastle Country Cottages' yourself and pay for it.
If there are only two of you it will work out as roughly €130 each for two nights accommodation. If you can get more people it will be cheaper. The house can be made into twins or double beds I think. The people who are in twins in the other houses are only paying €65 for two nights.
If you are interested in going ahead with this let me know and I'll add you to our whatsapp group and count you in for dinner booking. Other options would be to book accommodation in Newcastle or to make it a day trip.
