Inaugural St James's Hospital Sportive 2016 was created by Graham Hurley
Hi All,
In an effort to raise much needed funds for services within St James Hospital an inaugural sponsored sportive has just been launched and is scheduled for Saturday the 21st May 2016.
The event will be run over two courses of 40km and 80 km in length starting at Russborough House, Co Wicklow. The event will cover some of the lovely scenery around the Blessington lakes. The longer route will including wicklow gap. The hope is to make this an annual event of the highest standard to rival some of the best sportives in Ireland. It would be lovely to see as many Orwell riders as possible. The event hopes to attract 250 riders in total.
A post event barbecue is planned for Russborough House. Registration costs €45 with additional fund raising at participants convenience. All participants will receive a commemorative jersey on the day. All funds raised will go toward patient services within the hospital
