Orwell Youth Cyclocross champs 31/01/2016 was created by Dave Mc
The Orwell Youth CX champs were held this morning in Corkagh park, in conditions that can best be described as idyllic for cyclocross! 12 youngsters aged from 6 to 16 braved the weather, and at the end of 5 laps of racing Andrew Ryan narrowly pipped Tadhg Fitzsimons for the win. Half a lap back Ronan O'Connor passed Jake Walsh on the final lap to grab the final podium place.

1st, Andrew Ryan;
2nd, Tadhg Fitzsimons;
3rd, Ronan O'Connor.
U16, Tadhg Fitzsimons;
U14, Andrew Ryan;
U12, Lorcan Cattle;
U10, Killian O'Brien;
1st girl, Sasha Krops.

Just an update to the above, all competitors bikes were checked at the finish, happy to confirm that no suspect devices were found.
